" Growing up in international schools all my life, and attending International School Manila for most, I've always loved meeting people with international backgrounds."

During my final year studying medical sciences at Kings College London, one of the biggest challenges I faced as an international student was navigating careers and applying for jobs in a foreign country. This inspired us to build TCP, an online community that connects international students in university with career mentors who are former international students to bridge this gap between university life and applying for your first job after university… "

" TCK (third culture kid) is a label that comes with both positives and negatives.

Growing up in Hong Kong & attending Hong Kong International School (HKIS), has been one of the best experiences of my life. It has taught me the importance of people over place and extreme flexibility in new, and sometimes uncomfortable, situations.

However, there is a sense of disconnect that comes with the territory of being a TCK, as it becomes extremely hard to find a place to call home. This is an experience I had when I moved to Canada to begin my undergraduate degree at the University of Toronto, where I struggled to find people who saw the world in the same way that I did.

Our goal is to create a home for all third culture kids. A place where all international school alumni can come back to, reconnect & find a piece of home... "

"I joined TCP to help students who are in similar situations that I have been in the past. I know how frustrating & difficult it can be to be unsure of where you will end up & how to accomplish your goals as an international student. I would have valued the support when I was going through it at first, so it is only fair I try to help now!"

"Being a TCK means being comfortable anywhere in the world because I trust I'll find a piece of home there. I love the community and how fast we click just by having similar experiences growing up."
